Cleaning Jewellery
JEWELLERY CLEANING IS SO IMPORTANT RIGHT NOW.
While we are ensuring that we are keeping our hands clean, we know that jewellery and watches also come in contact with germs.
You may already be cleaning with a disposable cloth or wipes but now is an opportunity to take time to deep clean your jewellery from the comfort of your homes.
If you are concerned that your hand sanitizers could be affecting your rings for instance, clean them with warm water and a mild dishwashing soap.
For stubborn dried and caked hand lotion, soak your rings for a while to loosen up the debris. Then brush with a soft bristled tooth brush.
Ensure that you get behind your stones in the mountings where dirt and grime can accumulate.
The end result is not only a clean piece of jewellery but a beautiful, sparkling one too.
DO NOT:-
Use hand sanitizers on softer or porous stones like Corals, Pearls, Emeralds, Opals or Turquoise stones. This is because the alcohol in the sanitizer can dry out the gemstones and lead to surface damage or cracking.
